Well, one of my friends from Danville has FINALLY seen Brady! Andy and her family had been in MO for spring break having lots of fun and they came home on Friday and passed through Fayetteville! So, me and Brady met them at Chili's so they could see Brady and tell me all about the spring break adventure. Brady was such a good boy and only fussed once (which was really funny b/c it was right after Abby took his picture)...It was great catching up and seeing her! Can't believe Brady is already 6 months old and it's the first time she has seen him - so crazy! So glad they had a great trip and I'm already looking forward to the next time I get to see her!

Some pics from the actual 6 month photo shoot!
So, I told you that our friend Kristin came over to take some pics of Brady for his 6 month pictures! She said that she had a blast and had never had such an easy photo shoot. She thinks lil Brady is the most photogenic baby she has ever taken pictures of. Said that she had never seen so many smiles and she said that she would gladly come back and take more b/c not only was it fun, but easy! HAHA! I thought she did a great job and of course we now have our 6 month pics! She couldn't believe he was sitting up so good on his own - I told her he had been sitting up since 5 months and she said that he is ahead of the game! We think he's such a special boy! Couldn't love him anymore!!! Thanks for great pics Kristin!

Brady's 1st haircut!!!
We really wanted to wait until Brady was a year old, but since his bangs were in his eyes and down to his nose, we decided it was time to get it cut! He did SOOOOO good!!! He didn't cry at all and besides wiggling around, he was just perfect!!!
I think Ann was so proud of her tiny customer!!! She did such a good job on Brady and he can actually see without his hair falling into his eyes - thank goodness!! It's hard to tell how cute it looks in these pics b/c it isn't really fixed, but he looks like a little boy!!! It kinda made me sad b/c this just means that he isn't a baby anymore - he is a little boy!!!
And, look at all this hair!! Can you believe that she cut so much off??? There are 2 and 3 year olds that haven't even got their 1st hair cut yet and you could make a little wig out of his clippings!!! We of course saved a little bit for his baby book and it will go down in history! AND - b/c Ann is so sweet, she said "the 1st hair cut is FREE" - HOW SWEET!! And, it was her birthday! So, Brady told us that he wanted to go to Rick's Bakery and get her a little cake as a THANK YOU!! She did a great job!! If anyone needs a cut - ask for Ann at Salon 125 off Township - she is FABULOUS!
Who says that momma can't match her lil angel!!
So, I put Brady in his new little onesie and I decided that I needed to match him in my red! HAHA! So, I made Richie take our picture since we were twinkies! And, if you haven't noticed...I cut all my hair off!! It was time...It's just a cycle...I grow it out - only to chop it off...But, I just LOVE this little man! He is just too precious!! So, who ever said that momma's can't match their lil boys??
He's so big - he's in the high chair!!!
Well, he is still eating in the bumbo sometimes...But, he's big enough to eat in the high chair now! He wasn't sure what to think about it at first and started crying when we first put him in it, but he warmed up fast!! ESP when he saw the food! HAHA! This growing boy needs and wants his food! He had bananas for the first time in his "big boy" chair! He's just growing up too fast!!
Happy 6 month old birthday Brady!
This picture above cracks me up - and yes, I know...I'm way behind on posting...2 weeks to be exact! But, things have been BUSY!!! We changed out our bumper pads (some say the thick ones are unsafe) and since he is getting bigger he is needing more room in the crib. So, we decided to get these mesh breathable bumper pads and he thinks he has figured them out!! He will peep out the top to check things out - it is just so cute, I had to take this picture - I think it's precious!
Happy 6 months Brady! It has been a great 6 months! He has just grown and changed so much! He is such a big boy! At 6 months he is wearing a size 3 diaper and 6-9 month old clothing. We will get the exact weight next week at his 6 month check up/shot appt...But I'm thinking he is about 18 pounds. He is VERY active now! In the past week he has started crawling...And he is EVERYWHERE! He pulls himself up on things and sits up completely on his own. He has been saying "a-boo" for awhile but now he has "a-boo, a-goo, hhhaa, hhhii" and several others that would look really funny if I tried to type them out. HA! But, he is going to be a talker for sure! Talking while on the run bc we have to keep our eyes on him all the time! HAHA! He is just the most special guy in the whole world and we couldn't love him anymore! These have been the best 6 months ever!

Someone had a photo shoot!!!
So, since this handsome little man turned 6 months old yesterday...YES - 6 months old!! We had his 6 month old photo shoot! One of my friends Kristin has been wanting to take Brady's pictures and she came over on Sunday afternoon and took many pictures! I however, had to do a trial run to see where/how I wanted these pics since he is sitting up on his own I had a couple of places in mind that I thought would be cute. Good news is - he was sleepy when I did my trial run - but for Kristin he was ALL ABOUT IT! He gave her tons of smiles so I can't wait to get those back. But, you can get a preview of what was done above!! Isn't he the best?? What a big boy!!!
Ashlea's shower this past Saturday!
Ashlea and the 2 hosts for the shower - Tina and Wendy! The shower was at Tina's house and it was fabulous!! She seemed to have a ball and she got some great gifts!
Yummy food - rotel/cream cheese dip and chips and the best mini cupcakes from "Cupcakes on Kavanaugh" and they were AMAZING! Too bad I gave up sweets for Lent. I did save a few for Sunday since that is a cheat day! And they were DE-LISH!!
Spinanch dip and the best pita chips ever - pinwheels and cucumber dip w chips! YUMMY!
The Little Rock Ladies - these are the great women I work with! From left: Kim, Tina, Ashlea, Me, Heather, Ashley and Kristi...These ladies are fabulous!!! Ashlea's wedding is on April 2nd and we all can't wait!! I know that she is going to be such a beautiful bride!
Visit from Maddox!!
What cute boys!! They had to give each other a welcome hug! Precious! Brady is 6 months old and Maddox is 7 nmonths old and we think they will be the best of friends!
It was really funny to watch them interact. They wanted to play with the same stuff and at one time Brady took his little book that crinkles and put it behind his back! We think he didn't want Maddox to play with it. It was hilarious though, because Brady was ALL OVER THE PLACE! He was rolling everywhere and getting into everything and Maddox was very tame. We are thinking we know who might be the troublemaker in the group! HAHA! Nah, they are both going to be good boys, but Brady is definitely the onery one!! HAHA!! It was a great visit and the boys had a blast!

Thanks to Babs & Grampie!
It was a very full weekend and we couldn't have done it all without the help from Babs & Grampie. They kept Brady almost all weekend and we really appreciate it! Brady loved it b/c he got spoiled! HA! They came with gifts in tow and he is for sure ready for the beach this summer now! I bet they slept really good last night when they got home b/c I'm sure Brady wore them out!!! HA! He loved it and I'm sure they did too! What a fun weekend for all! Thanks again Babs & Grampie!!
Kin & Kate - WEDDING WEEKEND!!
Friday night we had the rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner for Kin and Kate's big day! They had the dinner at US Pizza on Dickson and they rented out the bottom floor. It was a great time and the pizza was good! Everything seems to be on track!
Before the wedding - Richie was an usher so he had to get all dressed up - GRRRR! How handsome!! They were really nervous about the weather b/c we had storms the night before, but they passed and the sun came out! It was still chilly but so much better than expected!
Kin and Kate after the "I do's" - what a great couple they make!! How beautiful does she look???? The reception was at Pratt Place Barn and it was AWESOME! We met up with our friends (Rob & Valerie and Brad & Mary) and had a great time! The food at the reception was great & the band was even better! All 6 of us and another couple then went out to a couple of bars on Dickson street. Man, its been a long time! A fabulous time was had by all! CONGRATS to Kin & Kate!!!
What's happened this week??
Well, we've graduated up from the little chair bathseat in the sink into a bathtub this week. He HATED it at first - several tears were shed and several attempts were made. Me, Richie and Brady were all in the tub before it was all over with! SUCCESS! We realized it was so much harder to do it that way anyway (have his own little rainforest tub in the big bathtub) so we put the rainforest tub in the sink so it's easier on us. He is still sitting in water which took some getting used to, but he LOVES it now!! YAY!!
And, he now climbs in the jungle and doesn't just lay in there anymore. He is trying really hard to pull up on everything! He is going to be a wild man! HA! And yes, he is still teething so he is eating on anything and everything! Those leaves don't stand a chance! HA! He has had a rough week though b/c he got his 1st runny nose. It started on Tuesday and I wasn't sure if it was his teeth, or b/c we took a 2 hour long walk around lake Fayetteville. I was hoping it was teeth and not allergies. He's had every symptom of teething but the runny nose so it was only a matter of time. So, of course his sleeping hasn't been as good...and he gets choked on his snot - bless his heart!! But, I think we are on the downhill slope! Thank goodness!
And, we have conquered peas! Carrots - check...Peas - check!! YAY!! We got a "baby bullet" this week and we will be able to make his own veggies! It will be a lot healthier and no added preservatives so we are really excited about that! He hasn't turned anything away yet, so I think he's going to have his daddy's appetite! HAHA!! He is still trying to crawl and he will get up on all fours but just can't figure it all out at the same time!! He's getting there though!!
Last Sunday night!
Ok, so I'm a little behind on my posts...Last Sunday night we went over to Ryans house b/c he and Jami wanted to cook for us. They made some sort of healthy pasta stuff and it was de-lish! Jami surprised Brady with an adorable sock monkey hat and it was too small! This guy is just growing way too fast!! Brady also got to play with Meko and Meko let him pet him and was way more relaxed than our dogs! HA! Brady loves our dogs and will want to touch them and they will just speed by him and not pay any attention to him at all. But, Meko was a good boy and Brady just hugged and rubbed on him. It was really funny!
So, after we chatted and hung out with Ryan and Jami and let Brady play with Meko we got home and started getting ready for bath time! I decided it would be fun to pull Bradys hair up with my hair tie and make him a Sumo Wrestler - it was hysterical! He LOVED it. You can tell he is totally posing in the pic above!! He is such a ham - I wonder where he gets that from???
