This week in pics...

Watching Pound Puppies first thing in the morning!  I love these two angels!

Bria wearing her "I love my big brother" outfit that came from Great Aunt Carol in Virginia!

This was after a poop and right before a bath!  He then started dancing (which I did capture on video) and when I went to grab him to put him in the tub he had pee'd all in the floor!  UGH!  Thank goodness for hardwoods...What a mess!

Sissy getting ready for Easter!  My lil bunny!

Brady at the park on Sunday - he had fun!  He's getting too big!

Us on the swing at the park - before Brady fell asleep!  HA!  This week has flown by, but looking forward to this weekend!  WHOOHOO!

My little M&M's!

Tom and Barb went to Las Vegas last year and got Brady the little M&M outfit to wear and bought him a bigger one to wear later on!  And, since I was pregnant I thought I could save it for my future baby!  Now is the time they both can wear them!  SUPER CUTE!

I asked Brady to "give Sissy Shuggies" and he actually is...This doesn't happen very often...She is less than impressed...And she LOVES him so a little sad about this pic...

My sweet baby girl!

Lil Brady after his nap...I caught him in the corner trying to poop!  HA!  Love these guys!  And, these outfits!  They are my lil M&M's and I couldn't love them anymore!

Baby Hayes!

After the shower Laura and I went and took some sausage balls up to India and her sister!  We had to see Baby Hayes!  He is such a little cutie!

Kate's Baby Shower for Cannon!

Kate Hood - Baby Shower for Baby Cannon!
May 24th

All the hosts!  This was at at Polly's house (to the right of me) and everyone else (and I don't know names for everyone) so here are all the hosts!  HA!

Kate and the Grandma's to be!  Spencer and Melinda!

Decorations - PRECIOUS!  All of the onesies had iron on things on them that were super cute!

Books for Cannon with messages from all of us on the inside! And the yummy food!  Pigs in a blanket, sausage balls, quiche, fruit and Rick's pedi-4's!

I made a diaper cake for them & I think it turned out really cute! It had a hooded towel and paci's as decoration around the diapers!

This was a cute game that Polly came up with - guess how many socks are in the jar for a prize!

Here are Stella and Vivi walking around getting people to guess - are they not PRECIOUS!?!

All of Kin's family!  They came with some cute gifts in tow!

Kate and her mom!  SO cute and so proud!  Judging from the last 2 pics I think lil Cannon might be spoiled!

Opening up gifts!  Cannon is loved already!  And, Kin and Kate are more prepared than they were!  YIPPEE!  I can't wait to meet this little guy!  I know he is going to fit in well with Brady and Bria and many memories will be made of all of them playing together!  Can't wait!  Congrats to them!  So happy the shower was such a success!

Dough Dough Saturday

So, bright and early on Saturday everyone gets around for Dough Dough Saturday!!!  I had to get ready for Kate's shower and make some sausage balls also and thank goodness Richie stepped in to help b/c things were crazy!!!  Fun times in our house on Saturday mornings!!

Baby Hayes is born!

So, Barb and Tom came over after work on Friday and Richie and I got to have a date night!  We met up with Ryan and Megan at PF Changs for dinner which was DELISH!  We then headed to Mercy hospital to meet baby Hayes!  India was induced at 6am and ended up with a CSection around 6pm and lucky for her b/c he was 8lbs 6oz and 20.5in long!  Big boy!

Is he not ADORABLE!?!  Such a precious boy!  Hayes Phillip Hankins - I can tell he is going to be great friends with Brady and Bria already!  Both India and Hayes are doing great!  Congrats to their sweet family!  I know that DeWayne and India are such proud parents already!

Boingo Bounce!

Last Friday we took Brady to Boingo Bounce and of course he was bouncing all over the place!  He was WILD...Oh yes - WILD!  And since it was Spring Break there were tons of big kids there and some were very helpful and other just ran right over him - but he was able to hold his own and he had a great time!  Needless to say, he slept great that evening!  It was F.U.N!  We will have to go back when it's not so crazy!  And, hopefully next time Brady's friends can come too!

Weekend with Baba & Papa!

On a nice walk enjoying the afternoon while Bria takes a nap back home & Richie fires up the grill for supper - Scallops, Shark, Fish, Boudain and asparagus, mushrooms, brussel sprouts and salad!  DE-LISH!  Chef Butler made the works!  It was great!  What a great weekend!

The kiddos had a great weekend with Baba & Papa!  And Richie and I were able to get a few things done!  THANKS SO MUCH for coming over and being such big helps while spoiling our kids!  Everyone had a great time!  Lots of outside time which EVERYONE enjoys!  Richie leaves for Hot Springs and will be gone until Thursday night...SAD!  I am so lucky though b/c Barb is coming back over - thank goodness!  What would I do without her?  They are fabulous!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Papa & Daddy took Brady for a haircut on Saturday after their "dough dough" Saturday run and in honor of St. Patty's day Brady got green donut holes!  HA!  Sure n' b gorin!

Bria and Brady wearing their GREEN for St. Patty's Day!

Girls night!

A girls night out!!  This is the 2nd girls night out I've had since Brady was born!  YEP, in 18 months!  OMG!  Long overdue...And, if you've read the posts below...You saw what a week I had and I really needed a GNO!  Here we are at PF Changs in Rogers - India, Laura and myself having a great dinner!  India is due any day with Hayes and we needed to have dinner before she had him b/c it's going to be awhile before she gets out and about!  It was so good - the conversation, the food, and for me...THE WINE!  HA!  Laura came and picked me up and I could have had several drinks, but since I'm still producing breast milk, I limited myself to 1 glass...However, I will say that this weekend has been so good b/c not only have I been able to get caught up on some things - I've had time to workout - YEP!  I know right??  A girls night and a trip to the gym!  WOW - I'm spoiled!  I also took Bria to Mason's on Friday before picking up Brady from school (he had 1/2 day since it was in-service) and I found 4 shirts and a dress and was able to spend my gift card that Tom and Barb got me for Christmas!  I'm back down to pre-preggers weight and ready to shop for some new clothes!  So, I got a few things that I can dress up and wear for work or dress down and wear with jeans and take to Napa!  Less than a month!  WHOOHOO!  Hopefully I can find some time to workout between now and then so I can tone up a little bit!  But, time with my kids is just so precious that I don't want to miss out on a single second...However, when Tom and Barb are there visiting the kids I don't feel as guilty b/c I know that they are having a great time playing with them so I typically use that time to clean or get things done that are needing attention...This weekend...I was able to do that and have some fun!  They will just never know how much I appreciate them...I had a great GNO and hopefully it won't be another 16 months before I can do it again!  Love my friends!  And I can't wait to meet Hayes!

Brady at 18 months!

Brady at 18 months old!  He is 32 1/2 inches tall & he weighs 26 1/2lbs!  He is even more into everything!  I had to show these pics that were taken with my phone b/c they are hysterical!  He climbed into the fridge and tried to shut the door on himself!  The next day he climbed into these drawers and was trying to climb up!  OMG...We can't turn our backs for 1 second!  He is trying peanut butter for the first time out of the jar and he LOVE LOVES it!  And, thankfully - no trip to the ER!  He still is a total outside boy!  He LOVES playing outside and would much rather be outside than anywhere else!  This includes going on walks and jogs with us, playing ball in the front yard, pulling weeds with Papa, pointing and saying "tree & flower" among other things, climbing on the patio chairs, running up and down the sidewalk (beside us of course) and playing in the rocks & making piles out of them...He is BUSY!

He's doing so much better at school and is really only getting upset on Monday mornings & that's just bc the weekend is so much fun!  HA!  I think he likes doing the activities there and we love putting the art up on the fridge!  He's had a couple of parties now and seems to have a good time.  We are in limbo now trying to figure out if we are going to reduce his days so he can be at home with us a day during the week now that Bria is getting a little easier - we'll see how that goes!

Brady is wearing 24 month/2T clothes and size 6ish shoe.  Now that it's warmer I've gotten clothes out and found some crocs that I bought for him for this summer and he's already IN LOVE all over again.  He loves these things - most favorite shoes ever!  HA!  Our good friends Michael & Ashley Berkshire have a precious little boy (Drew) and she cleaned out his closet and is SO SWEET to give us some hand me downs!  SO SUPER PRECIOUS of them and we really appreciate it so much!  She said that Drew had some crocs so Brady will be pumped!  hehehehe!  His vocabulary is growing and saying some different words that I'm guessing he's learning at school and we have to figure them out once we get home.  But, he loves cell phones still and even thinks that my ipod is a cell phone and will put it to his ear and say "hello" it's so funny.  He does the funniest things...He still likes movies and his current favorites are Rio and Ant Bully.  He is still a MAC & CHEESE boy...I swear that and Yo Toddler is just about all he wants to eat these days!  Chicken nuggets are a hit and miss as well as ravoli & spaghetti o's...He still LOVES breakfast food best and loves his oatmeal, bananas, sausage biscuits (which are now hot & cold) I think mainly b/c he is getting more teeth...He is getting 4 teeth all at once & that will put him up to 15 teeth total - WOW!  He is still doing "cuddle time" with me in the mornings when he wakes up and as soon as Bria blows out her diaper & I get up to change it all of that turns into tantrum...He doesn't like it when it's just us 3 and I'm giving her attention.  In fact, I had just changed his diaper the other day and was in the process of changing hers and he pushed her away with his legs and didn't want me messing with her at all.  She still LOVES watching him!  I hope he will grow to really love her and SOON!  I guess we'll see!  HA!  Man, it's weird to say that he is 18 months old - time really does fly!  He is the sweetest lil stinker in the world!  LOVE THAT BOY!

What a week!

Well, the rough week started off with Bria getting shots.  She's still getting over her double ear infection but the doctor said that it was fine to get shots...So, as much as I hated it...We did it.  Her stats: 14.8lbs - 75th percentile, 25in tall - 75th percentile, 16hc - 50th percentile.  Said that she looks FABULOUS!  And, her ears are looking better - thank goodness!  She took the shots like a champ!

Brady got horrible diaper rash on Tuesday coming home from school - Tina rode with me on Wednesday and Thursday and needless to say, it was ROUGH.  Bria had a VERY rough night on Wednesday night and I only got 3 hours of sleep going into my ride along on Thursday...UGH!  Friday, I got horrible news on my dog Bubby.  He has been my little angel since 2006.  He is the best and cutest pug ever.  I felt horrible taking him down to my moms house when we were about to have Bria, but we were in the process of moving into a new home and moving, having 2 babies under the age of 2 and two dogs stressed me out.  So, my mom took them in which I really appreciated so much & knew that they were probably getting more love and attention with her than what I could give here...Well, mom took him to the vet on Friday b/c he had a growth on his lip & in his mouth - they think it's cancer...DEVASTATED.  And, I feel even worse b/c I sent him away to be with her until I could get a grip on things here - I feel horrible! :(  Just when I said things couldn't get any worse, my step-grandpa (Lawrence) passed away on Saturday morning.  When it rains it pours...Richie leaves today for Hot Springs and won't be home until Friday.  Should be an interesting week!

Weekend with ups and downs...

Well, with 2 sick kids it's been a weekend with ups and downs...Hopefully the medicine will kick in soon!  Richie went to Ryan's on Friday night to celebrate his birthday with the boys.  Thank goodness he gave Brady a bath and waited to go over there until things settled down a little bit.  He worked on Saturday and Mayme came up to help me with the kids since they were both under the weather and I wanted her to watch Bria while Brady went to Lilly Johnson's birthday party!

Lilly's party was at Boingo Bounce off Township in Fayetteville and WOW was it a fun place!  Brady took a long nap and I was so sad that he really only got 10 minutes of bounce time by the time we got there.  He wasn't feeling great and Bria had barely eaten all day, but we attempted the party.  We didn't get to stay long and I didn't even get a pic of the bday girl!  The above little girl is Bo & Sabrina's little girl - Landry.  She is 2 months younger than Brady and just precious!!  This is a place that we MUST take Brady to again!  He loved it!  What a great idea for a birthday party!  Happy 3rd Birthday Lilly!  Thanks for including us in your special day, even though we didn't get to stay as long as we wanted!

After the party we got a snack for the kids and decided to take advantage of this weather and we took a walk!  Had to cover their ears b/c I didn't want them to get worse...But, they really seemed to enjoy it.  Brady took Kermit on his walk - a gift from Oma in Virginia.  Bria got a fluffy bear!  So sweet of her to think of them, especially since she has so much going on.  Say a prayer for her and Lawrence...He just had surgery on his leg and it's not looking good.  One complication after the other and his heart is in bad shape and they had to move him to a different hospital.  My granny has been married to him for like 20 years.  So sad, I feel terrible for her.  We think she is special and we love how she spoils these kids from afar!  Love you granny/oma!  We are thinking of you!

After our walk, Bria took a power nap and Brady played on the slide and jumped on the trampoline.  He and Mayme had fun!  Despite feeling bad and being tired, he still knows how to play and have a good time!  Then, sissy woke up and wanted some loving too!  I was happy my mom came up b/c Richie was at work and these kids are like a roller coaster...One minute they feel terrible and are SUPER fussy and the next minute they are wanting to play and roll around and then crying, etc. all over again...I'm ready to have these kids well & healthy!  Thanks for coming up and helping - much appreciated!

And, I need to give a shout out to Bria's God Father - Jerry Hellebusch!  His surprise 60th birthday party was this weekend and we hated that we were missing it...He and Rose are so special to us and we hope that we get to see them soon - Happy 60th Birthday Jerry - we love you!!
