August - part 2

Bria's EP2 class got on Instagram & started posting pics of the kids during the day. I LOVED seeing that!!! It makes me so giddy seeing what all they do in a day! Drop offs are still rough with her, but I'm sure she likes to lay on the mom guilt. They tell me she's done crying 45 seconds after I leave. I sure hope that's right!!!!

The Washington county fair came to town! Once again - MORE FUN!

This dragon ride was quite humorous! We got there early so it wasn't crowded. Brady rode this once with me & then again with Richie. Bria was technically "too short" but the carnie felt sorry for us & gave us a free ride so lil sister could have a turn too!!!! So sweet!

August brought Razorback football too! Love wearing our razorback red & supporting our team! Love going to the Farmers Market too!

Montessori sponsored a "Literary Parade" and you dressed as your favorite literary character. I chose Hansel & Gretel for the kids and they LOOKED ADORABLE!!!!! We participated in the parade, but both kids were tired & hungry & ready to leave by the time the costume contest started. I'm sure they would have won though! Happy to have Mayme up here & all settled in too! That was a big deal this past month. Mayme moved up here from Belleville & stayed with us for a few weeks while she was house hunting. She found a house in Siloam Springs & started renovating it. So happy she decided to take the plunge & move up here to be closer to us & the kiddos! They just grow & change every single day & now she won't miss everything! So special to have her up here!!!! Yay!!!!

August - part 1

Well, August was spent trying to get adjusted into our new home & exploring the new area around our house! The Tontitown park is AWESOME & the kids love it there! So much to choose from!

Brady also had new classroom orientation, and that was fun! We got to meet his new teachers at The New School in the 3yr old class & I was very anxious about that. It went well though & they seemed so sweet!!!!

Then.......it was time for the annual Tontitown Grape Festival!!! So sad Richie had to work this year because the kids got to ride on better rides!!! It was so much fun!

And, Brady's first day in his new class was just around the corner. He did so so well & didn't even cry on his first day!!!!!! I was EXTREMELY pleased about that! It breaks my heart into pieces to leave a crying kiddo...But, he found one of his lil friends Presley & just started getting into all that his new room had to offer! So so proud of him!!!!

July - part 2

For Richie's birthday we had a huge cookout at our new house with our good friends & their kids! It was great!!! I didn't find many pics of the BBQ itself, but it was a lot of fun!!!! So nice to have room to have a few people over!!!! We also went to dinner the next night (after the boys golfed) to celebrate some more!!!! I love to spoil my main squeeze!!!!!! It was so much fun spending some time with our great friends!!!

And, we are still loving our house & all the neat things around it! Our new neighbors have a horse & we get to feed her carrots! The kids LOVE it!!!!

We took another little "mini trip" to the Tulsa Aquarium! It was REALLY neat! The kids (and the adults) actually had a great time! It was fun to look at all the fish & sea creatures!!!!! And, Richie & I got to stay in Tulsa for a date & the kiddos napped all the way home! It was a win-win for everyone!!!

Our last "mini-trip" of the summer was Kansas City to see the family & have a little time away! It was. Lot of fun!!!! We stayed with Brady's God parents (Brian & Alyssa) one night & we stayed with Bria's God parents (Jerry & Rose) the other night! We had such a great time getting all the kids together & seeing everyone! I think the highlight was the petting zoo. The kids LOVED IT!!!! As did we! It was a great way to wrap up our July!!!!

I sure do love my little family! So so much!!!!

July update - part 1

Ok, I'm trying to get updated on our life! I'm only a year behind, so this isn't going to be in extreme detail...But, I will do my best!!! Lots to get caught up on!!!! It's not like we've been twiddling our thumbs the past 12 months! Ha! So, here is our recap (part 1 due to photo upload) in July of 2013...Let's hope I remember!

We sold our house!!!! Yay!!!! So, crazy enough we actually closed on our old house & our new house ON THE SAME DAY!!!! It was insane. Moving was something else. So hard w 2 toddlers!!!! But, what a huge blessing! Little did these kids know we were about to move into an amazing house in Tontitown with an acre & 1/2!!! So amazingly blessed!!!

We went to the Nolen's house again this year for the 4th of July. They are the sweetest family with the coolest activities at their house! We had a great time!!!

We also went to The Botanical Gardens for the 1st time & it was too cool!!!! They have so many neat things to see, we can't wait to go back! And, Richie captured this pic of me & the kids & it seriously melted my heart! I hardly ever get a good pic with them & this is my favorite by far!!!!

And, we moved in!!!!!!!!! Love our new place!!!!! The kids aren't spoiled at all though...we had literally been there less than 3 days & papa, baba & Mayme all chipped in to get them an awesome swing set!!!! They instantly loved it!!!!! The first 1/2 of July was great!!!!!

June update!

To kick off June, we had a play date over at Rylans house. When we move we won't be as close & I wanted to get in as much time together as possible!

And, our "mini- vacation" to the Tulsa zoo was a HUGE hit too! We decided to take a day trip & it was so much fun!!!!! Love that place & hope we get to go back again soon!

Most favorite pic of all time of Bria! Such a sweet girl!

Family shot! Not too bad! 5 out of 7 looking! Ha!

My hubby, the comedian...

We had 2 worn out kiddos!!!!!!! They LOVED it!!!!

We celebrated Father's Day! I can honestly say I married a man who is an AMAZING father to our kids. Love him to much & thank God I got so lucky!!! We also had Father John over for dinner before he left. It was such a nice treat to have him over on Fathers Day! He is greatly missed already.

We also celebrated our 7th anniversary! So crazy we have been married for 7 years! My how time flies when you're having fun!

More gymnastics!!!

Love our sweet kiddos!!!!!!

My brother got married! Congrats to Blake & Stephanie!!!! Such a nice wedding. It rained, which means good luck in their marriage! It rained on our wedding day & look where we are 7 years later!!!

Water day at Brady's school - he totally busted me!! Lol. Bria saw the birds walking into water day at her school - so precious!!

Toward the end of June I got a horrible virus, Brady got sick & Bria got terribly sick. I was just so upset over it. But, once they felt a lil better we took them to Shake's and that made everything better!

Melt. My. Heart.

A visit from Mayme concluded our June!! And...that's a wrap!
