It was so nice to have no plans for once and just play things by ear! We didn't have anywhere we had to be and we didn't have any company - it was strange! We didn't know what to do with ourselves...So, on Saturday morning after we went to the Farmer's Market we took the kids to Pet Smart! Mainly to see their reactions to the animals - Brady wasn't so sure about the guinea pig...Needless to say, I left with a huge patch of hair ALL over my tank top - we will be waiting a good long while before getting one of those! HA!
Then, we went for a ride in the wagon!
And played in the yard for a little bit - leaves and sticks...Much more entertaining than the yard toys!
Then, Richie had to go to work on Sunday...SAD! But, me and the kids really enjoyed our day! We went for a walk in the wagon before it got too hot...
Brady decided that he needed to help me pull about half way around the block! HA!
Then, we had a bubble party!!!
After nap - back in the wagon! I could feel Brady moving and I looked back thinking he was probably climbing out, but he was moving over to the other side to sit by Bria! Melt my heart! He can be sweet! Needless to say, it didn't last long! When we got back to the house - we had an interesting 10 minutes...
Brady LOVES this watering can - he decided that he needed to ride on his tricycle WITH the watering can...He soon realized that wasn't going to be easy...
He then decided to PUSH the tricycle with the watering can...Didn't like that idea to much...
So, he thought standing on it would be fun and a neat trick but couldn't figure out how to do so without A) falling or B) having watering can in hand...SO, when he didn't like that idea too much...
He wasn't happy. Needless to say - the tricycle and watering can were put up! He was hot and crabby!
Sissy literally watched the whole thing go down from the wagon and she didn't move a muscle. She just soaked it all in - she is such a sweet girl! But, she was hot too...
So, 10 minutes later we stripped down to our diapers and got sippy cups and cooled off to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse before dinner!
Then, bathtime which was SUPER fun with these two...And rub downs with lotion, etc. before bedtime! I just can't say how much fun we had - things can get hectic at times but I just wouldn't change one thing! These are the best kiddos in the world and I'm one lucky mom! It was a great weekend of nothing and very special having that time - I really enjoyed spending time with Richie and the kids & having no plans and just winging it. Some of the best times are when they aren't planned down to the letter! I love my precious family and can't wait for another weekend of nothing! :)
