Great weekend!

It was so nice to have no plans for once and just play things by ear!  We didn't have anywhere we had to be and we didn't have any company - it was strange!  We didn't know what to do with ourselves...So, on Saturday morning after we went to the Farmer's Market we took the kids to Pet Smart!  Mainly to see their reactions to the animals - Brady wasn't so sure about the guinea pig...Needless to say, I left with a huge patch of hair ALL over my tank top - we will be waiting a good long while before getting one of those!  HA!

Then, we went for a ride in the wagon!

And played in the yard for a little bit - leaves and sticks...Much more entertaining than the yard toys!

Then, Richie had to go to work on Sunday...SAD!  But, me and the kids really enjoyed our day!  We went for a walk in the wagon before it got too hot...

Brady decided that he needed to help me pull about half way around the block!  HA!

Then, we had a bubble party!!!

After nap - back in the wagon!  I could feel Brady moving and I looked back thinking he was probably climbing out, but he was moving over to the other side to sit by Bria!  Melt my heart!  He can be sweet!  Needless to say, it didn't last long!  When we got back to the house - we had an interesting 10 minutes...

Brady LOVES this watering can - he decided that he needed to ride on his tricycle WITH the watering can...He soon realized that wasn't going to be easy...

He then decided to PUSH the tricycle with the watering can...Didn't like that idea to much...

So, he thought standing on it would be fun and a neat trick but couldn't figure out how to do so without A) falling or B) having watering can in hand...SO, when he didn't like that idea too much...

He wasn't happy.  Needless to say - the tricycle and watering can were put up!  He was hot and crabby!

Sissy literally watched the whole thing go down from the wagon and she didn't move a muscle.  She just soaked it all in - she is such a sweet girl!  But, she was hot too...

So, 10 minutes later we stripped down to our diapers and got sippy cups and cooled off to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse before dinner!

Then, bathtime which was SUPER fun with these two...And rub downs with lotion, etc. before bedtime!  I just can't say how much fun we had - things can get hectic at times but I just wouldn't change one thing!  These are the best kiddos in the world and I'm one lucky mom!  It was a great weekend of nothing and very special having that time - I really enjoyed spending time with Richie and the kids & having no plans and just winging it.  Some of the best times are when they aren't planned down to the letter!  I love my precious family and can't wait for another weekend of nothing! :)

Carrie's Surprise Girls Luncheon!

So, I decided that I needed to put my thinking cap on and figure out a way to get Carrie's closest friends together to do a lil shower for Campbell.  She insisted on not doing a "REAL" shower just b/c it's her 2nd girl, she already has everything, blah blah...Anyway...Every baby needs something!  And, by the look on her face - I pulled it off and surprised her!  SO HAPPY!

YUMMY dessert from Rick's Bakery - her favorite!  And yes, she's going with the name - Campbell Lou!  Precious!  It's a family name which I just adore!

The diaper cake I made - I think these are so fun and such a cute and useful decoration!

All of her closest friends - From the left - Amanda, Sarah, Lindsey, Angela, Carrie, Jamie, Stephanie & Lexi - several of these girls drove over an hour to come!  Carrie and Campbell are SUPER special!  What great friends to have!

One of the adorable gifts she opened!  Lots of cute monogrammed things and diapers, etc. Everything to get her set for Campbell's arrival!

Me and mom to be of baby #2!  How cute is she?  Barely any bump at all!

One of the things I made for Campbell.  I saw it from a friend of mine who found something similar on pintrest!  I think it turned out great and will match her bedding pretty darn good!  I just love it and may have to do one for Bria!  HA!  I got the vintage frame from an antique store and it couldn't be a more perfect fit!  Super excited - I got lucky!  I'm so excited for Harper to become a big sister!  Carrie is about to see how crazy having 2 babies is!  It's definitely a blessing - but not easy!  I'm so happy her suprise luncheon with the girls turned out so great!  I couldn't have done it without her sister's help!  Congrats again Carrie - SUPER excited for you and your family!

This week in pics!

Oh yes - this was one of Brady's most FAVORITE things to do!  A bazillion toys to play with - in his room, Bria's room, our living room is a toy pile...And this is what she wants to play with!  HA!

Oh my goodness...LOVE these kids!  Once again - an expensive toy...The $3 laundry basket!  HA!  I pushed them around and around - something that we've done a few nights here lately!

Then, Bria got in her walker and really just went to town and walked around and around.  Brady decided he needed to help her!  HA!  I have the cutest video of him just pushing her around - until he ran her into the recliner!  HA!  He doesn't have his license just yet! :)

My sweet lil girl!

And my funny lil boy!  HA!  I thought to myself..."What is odd about this picture?" - Oh yeah - he's ripped his diaper off in the middle of the night and is just sleeping in the nude (waist down)...TOO FUNNY!  Luckily he must have done it after 2AM b/c that was the last time I remember looking at him with it on...And, when I went in to get him when he woke up he handed me his diaper!  HA!

Sunday FUN Day!!!!

So - after everyone left and all the festivities were over - we got to do what we've been wanting to do - have some much needed family time!  Brady and Bria and Richie all got naps and felt refreshed!  It was time for some family fun in the backyard!!  I found this snake last week at Target on sale and have been dying to get it out to see if Brady liked it - he LOVED it! Richie actually got it out on Saturday when I was driving back from the wedding and enjoyed some one on one time with Brady and they had a ball! Barb bought him a little pool with a slide and everything and I can't wait to get that out too!

Just horsing around!  Brady loved running through the sprinkler and climbing all over Richie - it was a HOOT to watch!  He was running everywhere!

And little sissy girl was glued to my hip!

It was a really fun time watching these kiddos - The clean up...Wasn't as fun...Grass everywhere and in the midst of Richie taking Bria inside to get cleaned up, I was still playing in the back with Brady when I realized that I had gotten eaten alive by something and was itching to death!  Needless to say - I had to get in the shower STAT!  I have so many lil bites all over my legs!  No one else got anything (thank goodness)...Who knows what it was??  But, it was totally worth it - we don't get a whole lot of time with it being just us b/c of Richie's schedule and having plans so it's nice to soak it up when we do get to enjoy it.  These kids are just growing up too fast and it makes me so sad to think that I'm not going to have "babies" for too much longer!  I love my family so much and they are so precious and special to me!  I love watching them grow and change and do something different every single day - they are the true light of my life and I truly am blessed!  What a great Sunday FUN day!

My cousin Cameron's wedding!

So, on Richie's birthday my cousin Cameron was getting married down in Pottsville!  It was going to be a tough trip, but I really wanted to try and make it and it was a really nice wedding!  They both looked great and I could tell they were both really happy!  So hard to believe that he's old enough to get married!  HA!

Me and Bria right before the wedding at Carla's house - I had to change somewhere!!  Luckily I have great friends!  And it was really good to see Paisley and McKynlee even though it was a FAST trip - in and out.  I hope she didn't think I was rude...Now that I think about it, it was soooo rushed!

Made time to have lunch with Mayme right when we got there though!  She had to see lil Bria!  She could tell she wasn't acting like her normal self...Poor lil thing!  But, she was all smiles for Mayme!

Bria and her grandpa!  She is so funny at how she just looks at him - precious!

Dad, Ange and Bria!  This is right before the wedding started!

Keisha and Cameron - AWE!

Us at the reception - notice Cameron up on the wall behind my dad - so funny!  They did a slideshow with pics of them growing up, etc. We did the same thing at our wedding and I love it when people do that!

My family!  Well, a big part of it.  A couple of people were missing...From the left, my dad - Mike, stepmom - Ange, cousin - Tiffany, The Groom - my cousin - Cameron, my Uncle Tom, my Aunt Rhonda, me, Bria and my cousin TJ.  I was probably driving them all crazy b/c I really wanted a family pic of everyone and was determined to get one with my camera before I left!  HA!  I'm so excited for my cousin Cameron - marriage is a life changing thing - I am so lucky to have found my best friend and soul mate and I hope that he and Keisha are as happy as me and Richie are!  I wish them all the best!  And, my cousin TJ is joining the Army!  He leaves for basic training this coming week and I'm so proud of him too!  It was great getting to see everyone even if it was really rushed - I felt terrible for leaving a houseful of company on Richie's birthday, but hopefully everyone was pleased - I did everything I could to make sure everyone was happy!  All in all - a very busy and great day!  Congrats to the newlyweds!

Happy Birthday Richie!!!!

Well, when Richie got off work Saturday morning - this is what he came home too!  Banners and signs and presents everywhere - HAPPY BIRTHDAY RICHIE!!  The kids and I were dressed and ready to hit up the Farmer's Market first thing since I wasn't going to be able to spend much time with him at all on his birthday - we were going to soak up every single minute!  Poor Bria started getting a little bit of a runny nose on Friday and she had a ROUGH night so Saturday morning he walked in and could tell his baby girl wasn't feeling so hot.  Poor thing...But, we loaded up and went to the Farmer's Market on the square and both kids were great!

Brady gets antsy really quick but he did great this trip - I'm sure it was his present to his dad for his birthday!  HA!  And there was this lil band playing and Brady sat so still in his lil stroller and just watched them - it was cute!  We got a couple of items and headed home!  I had to get ready for my cousins wedding down in Pope County but I'll post more on that later!

After getting home from the wedding it was about 6pm and Richie's family came up for the day to see him and they had already eaten dinner - Rich picked it up after golfing with Kin and it was time for the cookie cake!  Brady LOVES "cooookies" and his eyes lit up when he saw it!  He was trying to pull the balloons off!

Time for presents from the family and a few pics then bed time for Brady!

Bria still not feeling well - but she slept all the way down to Russellville and all the way back - I think she REALLY needed that rest!  Poor thing!

Then - it was time to go out with all of Richie's closest friends for a Birthday bash dinner at Powerhouse!  I was so pooped after not getting sleep with Bria on Friday night and then a NON-stop Saturday but was refreshed for dinner with everyone at one of our most favorite and memorable places!

Richie's favorite thing - getting attention on his bday!  HA!  NOT...So pumped!

From left - Birthday boy Richie, Mike, Ryan and new fiance Megan, me, Kim, Kate & Kin and Kristin and Chase - so sweet of everyone to all come together and celebrate Richie's special day!  It was a FABULOUS dinner and a great way to celebrate his 31st birthday!!

More family pics after church and a nice lunch before nap time!  Great birthday fun!  Happy birthday Richie - I hope I made it special enough for you with everything going on!  We love you so much & hope to have many more birthdays with you!! :o)
