He thinks he can drive!

He LOVES being behind the wheel - anytime I've started the car to cool it off before going anywhere - if I want to stall for a few minutes, I put him behind the wheel!  He thinks he is driving!  It is hysterical!  And, he really likes knobs so of course he messes with the volume and turns it up really loud then wonders where it has come from...Pretty dang cute!  Couldn't love this guy any more!!  He is one special boy!!

Big Boy week!

This past week has been a "big boy" week!!!  He turned 9 months old (will upload those pics later - these are from my phone)...But, not only does he have 4 top teeth coming through - he also got his 2nd hair cut!!  See pic above!  Kayla did it this time...(Everyone wants a little piece of Brady!! Can you blame them??) And besides being a little wiggly - he did great!  And Kayla did a great job too!  He looks like a big boy now!!

And, he is in a "big boy" car seat!  We are headed to Gulf Shores tomorrow so we decided that it was time for him to be able to see out the window!  He LOVES cars so we think it will help in the 13hr drive!  HA! But, it is really funny b/c he thinks that he is BIG stuff now!! 

Tribute to DAD for Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day Dad!!  Thanks for being such a great dad to me!  I love how we get to spend 3 days a week together while mom works and get some great father/son bonding time in!  I love how big and strong you are and you can carry me anywhere for long periods of time without getting tired - I hope I can be as tough as you when I grow up!  I like how you take me places (and sometimes get on the news!!) and how everyone thinks I'm the cutest - I'm sure they aren't suprised when they look at you...they know where I get it from!!  I really like it when you throw me up in the air or make me fly - I really enjoy playing with you and it's only gonna get better the older I get!  Thank you for being such a big part of my life dad!!  You are so special to me and I love you very much!  Happy 1st of many Father's Days to come - you are my hero!  LOVE YOU ~ love Brady!

Celebrating Father's Day with Richie's Dad!

This past Thursday Tom, Barb & Jackie came over so we could celebrate Father's Day with Tom!  It was a great time!  Richie grilled burgers & brats and we had cucumber salad, sweet potato fries, jalapeno peppers stuffed with cream cheese and cheesecake for dessert!  It was DE-LISH!  Richie did a great job!  Tom opened presents and a good time was had by all!

Neighborhood Garage Sale! MADNESS!

This past weekend our neighborhood had a garage sale and it was CHAOS!  Thank goodness Tom, Barb & Laura came over to help b/c I couldn't have done it by myself!  Richie had to work, so he was going to help me pull out the tables before he left and at 6:07 (wasn't supposed to start until 7, but I know there are early birds) I opened the garage door and a man pulling a trailer squealed his brakes and started walking up the driveway before I could even pull out anything!  He wanted the gas grill and at 6:08 he walked off with it!  HA!  These pictures are to show the crazy cars that came and you seriously couldn't even pull down our road - it was CRAZY!

I do NOT know how our next door neighbors slept in!  They didn't do the garage sale, but instead SLEPT IN!  There were car alarms going off, horns honking - it was CRAZY!

This was about 10AM - after the cops came and when it started winding down...Brady wanted to people watch - he is so nosey!  It was really funny!

Nothing says "Redneck yard sale" like a baby in a diaper!  HA!  We ended up making about $330 after we purchased a few things from others - so it was definitely worth our time!  THANKS AGAIN to Tom, Barb and Laura for helping!  It was VERY much appreciated!

Brady & Kate in the pool!

Kim and Kate invited me and Brady over to the pool in their neighborhood last week!  It was a lot of fun!  Who knew they would have matching floaties??  They had the best time and were SUPER good in the pool!  Brady is on the go ALL THE TIME and it was so funny b/c he was just chillin in his floaty and he reminded me so much of his DAD!  Even Kim thought so!  It was really funny!  Aren't these two quite the pair?  I think so!

We were probably out there for about an hour and 1/2 and they didn't fuss at all!  They really enjoyed it!  It was really nice for me and Kim to be able to hang out and catch up too!  That doesn't happen very often!  We had so much fun!

Fun times at Carrie & Shawn's house in Alma!!

We went down to Alma a couple of weekends ago to spend some time with Shawn, Carrie and Harper and had the BEST time!  For those of you who don't know, Carrie is an attorney down in Van Buren.  And, she is FABULOUS!  She is so impressive and I'm so very proud of her and all of her accomplishments!  Richie and I decided now that we have a child, we needed a WILL!  Just in case something does happen to us, we need to make sure Brady and future baby are taken care of!  So, Carrie did our will for us!  She is available to do anything like that, so if you need it call me & I'll give you her info!  Back to the FUN TIMES...They have about 10 acres and a beautiful log home and lots of fun outdoor things to do!  Brady had no idea what to think - he LOVED every minute of it!

The above pic is me taking Brady and Harper down to their really cool pond in the covered wagon - once again...Brady thought it was the coolest thing!  And bless his heart - his diaper leaked as soon as we got there so he was Mr. Shirt & diaper man the whole night!  HA!

Once we got to the pond, Carrie gave me some food so we could feed duck, duck, goose!  Brady just stared and checked them out!  He was not scared of them, but was glued to my side for sure!  Harper was really familiar with this routine b/c they do it every single day after Carrie gets off work, so I think she was curious as to who else was feeding her goose!  HA!  And, they have a couple of nosey little puppies that needed to be in on the action as well!

We then sat at the end of the dock and fed them from there - Brady dipped his feet in the pond just like Harper and they splashed around while feeding duck, duck, goose!

After the visit to the pond we got on the 4-wheeler!  I think Ricihe had more fun than Brady on this!  HA!  But, in our search for where we want to be (moving, etc.) I think this just made Richie want a little land instead of living in a subdivision...Which I would like too...Maybe not 10 acres, b/c that is a lot of up keep, but a couple of acres wouldn't be too bad!!

The goose loved Brady so much that it followed us back to the house!  Carrie picked it up for one last kiss from Brady! :)

While Richie was cooking, Shawn started to read to Brady with a really neat little book - Harper didn't know what to think about that!  She wasn't sure what was going on with her daddy and another baby!

So, she ran to her mom for a hug...Brady wanted one too! 

A tired little man after playing with all of Harpers toys and animals!  It was so much fun doing something out of the ordinary and getting to hang out with such wonderful company and eating a great meal!  We may have to start making monthly visits to Alma!  HAHA!

Sunday of Memorial Day weekend!

Little Brady looking mighty handsome in his Sunday best!  Everyone at church couldn't take their eyes off of him b/c not only was he the finest looking little man there - he was singing and preaching as loud as possible!  They all thought he was adorable!  I couldn't agree more!

After church Richie and Tom went to go run some errands and while I was feeding Brady, Barb was tackling the blow up pool that Richie got for Brady - it was priceless!  She said that she was full of hot air - she wasn't lying!  She did a great job getting it all set up and she even had help from the dogs too!

So, here is little stinky getting geared up to get in his pool!  He has his lil swimmers on & I'm trying hard to catch him so I can put the rest of his outfit on!!  You can see the muscles in his legs - he is one strong little guy!!  He is PUMPED about his pool!!

We had to wait a little bit - the water was a little too cold at first, so he hung out with the dogs until it got warm enough...

And - he and daddy hopped right in!!!  YAY!!  He wasn't too sure about the pool at first, but after about 3-4 minutes he was LOVING it!! 

He had the best time in his pool!  I think he is already wanting a BIG BOY pool now!  UH-OH!  It was a great Sunday - Church, pool time, Richie grilled dinner and we all slept great that evening!  A great time was had by all!  Happy Memorial Day!

Start of Memorial Day Weekend!

Richie and Brady went to the Farmer's Market while I went and got a pedicure with my friend Kim!!  It was a nice and relaxing pedicure!  Then, I got a text message from Richie telling me that he thinks he and Brady got on the news!!!  Sure enough - they did!!!  While at the Farmer's Market Rob Sneed from 40/29 was talking on the air featuring all the wonderful things and the camera guy got Brady getting mommy these beautiful flowers!  When Richie turned around and saw the camera right in his face he couldn't get out of there fast enough!  For those of ya'll who know him, know that he HATES getting interviewed or anything like that...When we watched the news that night, we were a little sad that they were trying to zoom in on Brady and Richie was lightening fast!!  HA!!  But, he's famous to us anyways!

Tom and Barb came over to watch Brady so Richie and I could have a date night!  We went out to eat at Bordino's with Kim and Buckley and had a great time!  They came straight over from Eureka Springs (they had been to a wedding) so they are looking very sharp!

I'm just loving on my little man!  He is sporting "the crinkle" and I can't get enough!!  I think it's the cutest lil thing EVER!!  I love it when he makes this face!!

Me and my 2 favorite men!!  I don't know what I would do without them!!  This was all on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend - more to post soon!
