Happy 7 months Brady!

Brady is 7 months old!  I just can't believe it!  Each month comes and goes and it has just FLOWN by!  He is such a blessing and these past 7 months have been nothing short of wonderful!  Brady is now standing - oh yes...STANDING!  He is "cruising" along the couch and chaise and it's just so crazy b/c he is EVERYWHERE!  We can't turn our backs for 30 seconds or he is into something he doesn't need to be into!  HAHA!  His favorite toys are his "new" toys since he gets so bored so quickly.  He is still in size 3 diapers and I would say he probably weighs about 20lbs.  He still LOVES the dogs even though they don't really pay that much attention to him and he has now mastered his walker when just a few weeks ago he could barely touch the ground!  He is totally ALL boy and loves to be outside!  I wish the weather would get back to being nice b/c all of the storms and rain make it hard to be playing out there!He is eating stage 2 and some stage 3 foods and he LOVES eating what we are eating although when he eats what we eat, he gets a lot of imaginary food off of our spoons and forks!  HAHA!  He babbles all the time and I'm pretty sure I've heard "doo doo and boo boo" so I'm sure anyday "dada and mama" will come!  He will just look at you when he's talking though and it's like he is telling the best story! 

I can't hardly get him to sit still long enough to take a "posed" shot with his sticker showing anymore - here he is reaching up to pull up and stand in the crib...We had to lower it all the way to the bottom!

If you look really close in this picture, you can see his 2 bottom teeth!  What a special boy!!  His little personality is just so sweet and fun.  I couldn't love him anymore!  Precious little angel!!

Is he CUTE or WHAT?

Ok, so Brady's Great Aunt Rose got him this outfit when he was born.  It looked HUGE!  I thought to myself "He's NEVER gonna grow into that" and guess what?!?!  It fits him now!  He is such a big boy! We just LOVED it when Brady got it and thought it was too cute and with his football leg warmers, it couldn't be any cuter!  Thanks Aunt Rose - this is our new favorite outfit!  Brady wore this to Harper's birthday party and EVERYONE there had to compliment Brady on how cute he was!  

Harper turns 1!

WOW - What a spread!  Carrie had Harper the best 1st birthday party ever!  They had it at their house and it was decorated so cute!  Look at all of this above!  WOW!  And, there were TONS of people there!  Harper is one special little lady!  

More food - YUM!  She totally outdid herself!

Me being in California....

I was in California all last week for work.  It was SOOOOO hard!  I left at 4:30AM on Tuesday morning and didn't get home until 9:30PM on Friday!  UGH - that was the longest time I have ever been away from Brady!  It was HORRIBLE!  And, of course - every single time I have to leave for an overnight with work I miss something!  AND...Of course I missed his 2 BOTTOM TEETH come in!  Oh yeah, he totally has 2 bottom teeth now!  Richie said that it was bad and that he cried a lot so it was probably best I missed it, but I hated every second of missing it! :(  And, I've been working with him on using a sippy cup and he knows how to hold it and put it up to his mouth but he wouldn't tip it up himself - as you can see from the pic above...He figured it out WHILE I WAS GONE!  Thanks to Richie and Tom and Barb for sending me some much needed pics while being gone b/c I don't know what I would have done without them!  It was PRICELESS when I got home though...Richie had to work on that Friday and Tom & Barb had put him to bed and he woke up at midnight crying.  So, I went in to check on him and when he saw me his face lit up like a Christmas tree and he was SOOO happy to see me!  I couldn't refuse - he had to sleep with mommy after that!  :)  I'm such a sap!  It took him awhile to go back to sleep b/c he wanted to play with me.  I enjoyed every second of it!  While I was in California we had a "free night" so I went to Disneyland and got him that ball and he LOVES it! It makes me so happy!  So, after a long week and a sprint across the Chicago airport to make my flight and of course NO LUGGAGE!  I barely made it so I had a feeling my luggage wouldn't - it was SUPER AWESOME being home!

"Surprise" 30th birthday party!

Little Brady had the MOST fun ever!  He really likes watching everyone and getting extra lovins!

My sweet husband and I - he was so sweet to do this for me!  It was really funny though, he had called/texted my friends behind my back and did really good at keeping it a surprise...Until he came home on Friday night with enough food and drink to feed a football team and I was really confused as to why we would be needing all of that stuff!  So, he had to tell me!  Thank goodness!  I had just enough time to clean and get the house ready for guests!  It was a great time!  Thanks to all of my friends for coming and the sweet gifts!  I'm super lucky to have you guys!  And to those who couldn't make it - you were missed!  Thanks for a great time Richie - SUPER sweet of you!!

Kim and Kate came late and Brady was so excited to see her!  They played and played and it was precious!  It was nice to have the time after everyone left to watch these two!  It's so funny how they act around each other!  Sweet lil angels!  A great time was had by all - it was a great weekend!

1st time on grass!!

So, Richie decided to throw me a "surprise 30th birthday party" two Saturday's ago (yes, I know...I'm behind on posting - been in California, etc.) however - we had TONS to do to get ready for company and I went out to pull weeds, etc. and it was SO AWESOME outside that we put Brady down and he LOVED THE GRASS!!!  It was so funny!!  He was crawling around on it and it was so funny just looking at his face.  In this 2nd picture he has some grass in his hand and he is trying to figure it out.  He loves being outside and this just added to it!  Could he be any cuter?!?!  I think NOT!

The day before my birthday!

Me and my lil man!  Richie had to work, but Tom and Barb stayed to start celebrating my birthday!  So, after we went to church they treated me to Shogun!  Lunch was fabulous!  For those of you who don't know...They have a "Bento Box Lunch" everyday from 11-4 and you get so much food for $6.95!  And it's DE-LISH!

After lunch, Barb treated me to a pedicure!  And boy is this a funny story!!!  I'm getting the royal treatment (this is a shock - usually I get the shaft) and they are breezing through her pedi...I look down and they are putting a band-aid on her pinkie toe!!  What in the world????  She looks down and is very confused to and the lady says "you're done!" so Barb jokingly asked "Do I have to pay for the full pedi since you only painted 9 toes?" We are laughing hard...She waits up front drying her toenails...I'm still getting massaged - it was GREAT!  I look up at her and she is bored (rightfully so) and I start texting her about the lady next to me and her Eagle Claw Toe nails!!!  She feels like she is in timeout with 9 painted toenails...When I get done I'm dying to see what is underneath her band-aid...We get home and she inspects it...NO TOENAIL!!!  What?!?!?!?  How has her toenail just disappeared???  OMG!  If you could have only seen her feet...9 pink toe nails and 1 blood red one!!  Turns out, it's not completely gone...But punctured none the least...It was hysterical (for me...not so funny for her)...But, we got some great laughs out of it!

The flowers they gave me!  These were among a few other gifts to celebrate the big 3-0!  Thanks Tom and Barb - you made my birthday special!  :)  More to post on my birthday later!!

Ashlea's Wedding!

This is inside the Terry House - she had it decorated beautifully!  The inside was all decked out with white/creme couches with silver and black accents - very elegant!

Me and my handsome husband!  He was such a trooper all day dropping me off places and picking me up.  I couldn't love him anymore!  He is just the best!  Ashlea and Tad Beene married April 2nd, 2011.  The happy couple are taking their honeymoon to Europe!  How fun!  Stopping off in London, Paris and Rome!  I can't wait to hear all about it - I'm sure they will have a blast!  Congrats Ashlea!

We had to see Brandy and Lily!

How precious is she???  Seriously!!!  After the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner and bridal brunch (all things I forgot to take pictures of) we went to Conway during the day on Saturday to see the Hopkins family!  We didn't have a whole lot of time before having to be back at the Terry House in Little Rock for Ashlea's wedding but we still got a good visit in!  Lily is growing way too fast!!  Precious girl!

Ok - I made Richie take this picture b/c I thought it was priceless!  He was playing with me and then crawled up in my lap, laid to the side and fell asleep!  He's 1/2 on my lap and 1/2 on the chaise and I think it's hysterical!  He must have been a tired lil guy!!  PRECIOUS!

A little love from Babs and Grampie!

I think this is from a couple of Thursday's ago...March 24th?  I'm not sure, I'm a little behind on posting...But, Babs and Grampie came to visit so of course we had to take a few photos...He was a happy guy - as usual!  Sweet boy!

He's a fast crawler!

Brady has been crawling for a few weeks now but he has really picked up speed!  We now can't leave the room without him getting into something!  It's just amazing how fast he can find things!!  ESP things he doesn't need to find!  HAHA!  We need to baby proof the house ASAP! 

Welcome Baby Mia Miller!

Richie's best friend from high school (Jake Miller) - he and his wife Kali had their baby this past Sunday!  Kali was in labor for 27 hours!!  UGH???  I can't even imagine!!!  Mia Miller weighed 7lbs 14oz and is a healthy little girl!  She is just precious!  We think she looks like Jake and Kali!  CONGRATS guys!  We are super excited for ya'll!

Sippy cup time!!!

So, it's time to train him on a sippy cup...He knows to put his mouth up to the cup, but doesn't know to tip it up!  It's pretty dang cute!  He'll get there!!
