Family time!

After Farmland Adventures, Barb and I took Bria to War Eagle!  It was Bria's 1st of many trips to come!!  She was a perfect angel!!!  So proud!!!  Then, Richie's cousin Matt and his wife Shannon came to Fayetteville and stopped in for a visit!!!  They were in Eureka Springs celebrating their anniversary and got bored.  We were happy they got to see the kids, and we were able to call Jessie (kids sitter) and we got to enjoy some adult time for dinner and catch up!  So happy we got to spend some time with them!

So, Richie had to work this Sunday...But, luckily Tom and Barb stayed so I could spend some good quality time with the kiddos!  Since Richie and I went to church on Saturday, I had all day on Sunday to do something fun with the kids.  It's very rare that I get good quality "alone time" with each kid, but I was taking Bria to the Halloween Carnival at the Montessori School in the afternoon, so I thought it was only fitting to have some time with Brady in the morning!  I took him to Wilson Park and he had a BLAST!

Then, it was time for the Halloween Carnival and it was over 80 degrees so I opted for this adorable dress instead of her Halloween outfit - she would have been SWEATING!  So happy our friend invited us to attend.  It was a little crazy overwhelming, but Bria loved this baby pig and I texted this picture to Richie pretending that we won it!  HA!  He nearly died!  Hehehehe!  It was a great time and so much fun to get some time with each kid!  So sweet of Tom and Barb to stay - I know that they enjoyed time with each kid also!!  These kids are so loved!  And, we are so blessed!  I can't thank God enough for giving me these two amazing kids with my best friend...How did I get so lucky?

We all went to the park close to the house after the carnival!!! It was too nice outside not to enjoy every minute!!!!

After that, the kids got to decorate the pumpkins Papa & Baba got them! What an awesome weekend!!!!!

Way too cute!!!!!!!!!

Farmland Adventures!

Farmland Adventures 2012

What a fun day!  I can remember bringing Brady here last year when I was pregnant with Bria!  I can't believe a whole year has passed b/c it seriously feels like yesterday when we were here last!  We had a great time with him last year and couldn't wait to bring them both this year and they LOVED IT!  Tom and Barb were visiting and got to come too!  They enjoyed it as well!  The weather couldn't have been prettier and we were all shedding our long sleeves as we were leaving!

This huge corn box was so funny - Richie started pouring the corn on Bria and she thought it was so funny!  I think I'm still finding corn kernels!  HA!

We were trying to pay, etc and Brady hopped in the wagon like he owned it!  Hysterical!
We love our babies!

There was so much to do here!  It was so bumpy going through the pumpkin patch, it was like they were off roading in that wagon!  Both kiddos needed to hang on!  HA!  And this big tube was just random, but Brady sure liked it!  Bria wasn't so sure...

You know I couldn't get enough of the pony rides!  I'm not sure who had more fun with this one...Them, or me!  HA!  I was ALL about it!  Brady loved it, once he got over having to wait to make them "GO!"

My sweet sweet angels!

Grandparents getting some good quality time in!  It was a great morning!  We all had so much fun at Farmland Adventures!  I hope we make this an annual trip!  It was so awesome just soaking up the sun and enjoying all the activities!  A great time was had by all!  Love my family!

Stopping in for a visit!

So, this past weekend we had some visitors! My moms military friend from VA came in to visit & she wanted to see the kiddos. So they came up & stayed on Friday night! It was a very quick trip but she can say she saw the kiddos!

Then on Sunday Tom & Barb came over. I had caught some 24 hour virus & hadn't been feeling too good...but fresh air is just what I needed! So we went to the park & had a lil fun!

They just came up for the afternoon & evening, but of course everyone had to get worked on before they left! Brady LOVES it! Him & Bria both!!!!!

It was a great weekend!

What a weekend!!!!

Wow!!!!! What a fabulous day!!!! We went to the Fayetteville Farmers Market to start off the day & the kids were good & had fun!!!! We got asked if we liked the razorbacks...I guess all decked out in hogs will do it every time! Hahaha!
Both kids are looking at a man playing a banjo...I think they loved the music there!
Daddy & his two precious kiddos!
Brady picking out a lil baby pumpkin for him & Bria! One a piece!!!
Mommy & her precious angels! Looks like Bria is hogging those lil pumpkins!!! We then headed for Wilson park...that was a lot of fun!
Do they not look identical in the above pics?!? Priceless! And I took them at different times & didn't even notice the pose until I was flipping thru later!!! Love those shirts too!
Brady getting some swinging time in! Lots of fun here! Until we had to leave...not so fun!!! But, after lunch & naps...we headed back outside!
Awe, isn't this pic precious??? Love my boys!!!!
Sissy is awake & ready to draw too!
Brady is pointing & saying his shapes! Smart boy!
Aside from the storm tonight, it's been a great day! I love good quality time with the fam & it's hard to come by! Richie's schedule never allows a full weekend & it's nice to have some time with just us! And, the hogs kicked some booty tonight! It's a great day all around! Loved today so much!!

I never want to take my life for granted...But, it's days like today that were so wonderful, it makes my heart ache for the Turner family. Although I don't them, Matt Turner was a news anchor & he got killed in a car wreck one week ago. He left behind a wife and a daughter that is Bria's age. I can't imagine Bria growing up not knowing her dad. I know God has a plan, but it's times like these that make me give Richie that extra squeeze bc you just don't know what tomorrow brings. I just don't know what I would do...I pray that they have strength in the next few weeks bc I'm sure they won't be easy...I pray too, that I don't take these moments with my husband & kids for granted.

This week in pics!

The above pics are after pick up at school! I was singing a song & asked Brady "where are your ears?" He thought I was SO funny! I'm glad someone does!

Me unloading the car & walk in to see the above pic! Too precious!!

Play-doh time!!!!!! Brady is actually sharing with his sissy!

The above pics are us at Wilson park one day after work! We had so much fun!!!!! ;) I think they enjoyed the change in scenery! And the different playground equipment to choose from! And...other kids to play with!!!!

I picked Brady up at school early today & we got chicfila for lunch. Do you think this busy week wore him out? Or perhaps...maybe his 5:15 wake up was too early!?!?

I just don't thank the good Lord enough for my precious family! We are blessed!
