Love

Well, I'm leaving for Dallas tomorrow morning...I'm not excited at all...it's a work trip & before I would be pumped to see my friends & go somewhere fun, but after having kids it's something I DREAD...and since they have such horrible separation anxiety, I wish so bad I wouldn't have to go. We seriously thought about bringing them to Dallas, but of course the way the week fell they would be missing appointments & that wouldn't be good...so, we are just gonna have to pray that it goes by quick & all is well!!! Thank goodness Barb is able to come and help Richie. I can't imagine taking them to an ENT appointment by myself! How do stay at home moms with multiple kids do it???? Kudos to them!!!!

Anyway...me being the worrier of the family...I decided I needed to blog about how precious I think my family is, just in case something happens & I get killed in a car wreck or something (I know, I'm paranoid)...but, anything can happen. And, I would rather them know than not!

So, I'm gonna start by saying how much I'm gonna miss this! As bad as it is, I really enjoy sleeping with Bria. I enjoyed it with Brady too. But, there comes a time that it must end. And what better time than when I'm gone for 4 nights. Crib training begins. Poor Richie. I'm truly grateful he is taking on this task bc I'm not strong enough to do it...and, as much as I want to get "normal" in our house again...I'm really gonna miss it. However, I WILL not give up the first 15min of the day when the kids wake up & we all cuddle. That is my most favorite start of the day & I hope we are doing it til they graduate high school! ;))

We had such a great & fun weekend together! These two love being outside & the inventor of sidewalk chalk is a genius! They love it!

My 2 most favorite men (not to mention most handsome) in the world! I just LOVE when Brady does this. He just gets so comfy on someone shoulders & then uses their head as a pillow. Adorable!!!

My sweet lil Bria! Full of smiles and the best lil attitude. Although, she is getting sassier by the day! I can't get over how you're almost a year old! My has the time flown!

I have several things to post & hopefully will be able to get all caught up in my hotel room in Dallas on Monday night! But, if something happens - I love my family more than words! I'm crying just typing this on my phone...I hate leaving. Ugh. I want you to know that the night I met Richie changed my life forever! The many funny memories we have made the past 7 yrs of being together...and the best moments of holding you both for the first time! You both are so special & so loved!!! I'm now bawling & will probably wake Bria up...and since this is our last night to cuddle I better not do that! I love you guys more than anything!!!! Never forget it!!

Autumn in the air!

What an awesome weekend!!!! I LOVE the weekends when Richie actually has Saturday & Sunday off!!! The weather was AMAZING & the time spent with my hubby and kiddos was even better!!!!

We started Saturday morning off with some outdoor fun! Sidewalk chalk & fresh air! Literally! Bria is totally off the ground in the above pic! She was all over the place & was jumping & tripping, etc...who knows what she was doing! But it was fun! We then went to the park....

We had a great time! It's getting even more fun now that sissy can do things. And actually, she is really too big for her britches! She thinks she can do everything big brother can do & that can get scary! You have to have both eyes on both kids every single second!!! When we left the park Bria fell asleep so I kept walking with her & enjoyed a little time just soaking in the nice weather! Brady & daddy got some time to hang out, but then the morning was gone! Richie had to help some friends move some things & he ended up coming home a some neat things! Our friend Ryan had this church pew at his house & decided it didn't go with his decor so we took it off his hands! For us really not having room at this time....I'd say it actually looks pretty good!!!! And oddly enough, the kids haven't even tried to climb all over it as we suspected they would! Yay!

Even though it looks good, I'm ready to find our "forever home" and not be so crammed in here. I think everything will be better (our allergies, etc.)...Anywho...All in all, our Saturday was FAB! Wasn't so good for our Hogs though.......

How sweet is lil sissy girl?? This is after church! She looked adorable today in her lil Gap Mary Janes, Right Bank Babies tweed knickers & oddly matching old navy top! It was perfect for the weather!!! And I can't refuse a cute pic when she is dressed so cute! Made me sad I didn't get one of Brady bc he looked cute too! But, the moment we walked in the door he got into the play doh so I took him out of church clothes! Sad!

This afternoon after naps, Richie had to mow & I took the kiddos on a walk/jog! It was fun! Enjoyed the beautiful weather AGAIN! This is my most favorite time of year! It makes me crave pumpkin custard from Shake's & the War Eagle craft fair! Also makes me excited about the upcoming holidays like Halloween & Thanksgiving! It's still too early to think Christmas for me...but, I know it will be here before you know it! Better get a Christmas list started! Yikes!

Side note - I've had a few friends talk about blog press (iPhone app) & how it's amazing...well, this is what I've used now on the last two posts & it is SO easy! I typically use my iPhone pics anyway...so instead of uploading to the computer & saving & posting - I can do it all from my phone! And my pics are saved to iCloud!!!! Technology is amazing!!! And, I'm off tomorrow & so happy!!! I have to go to Dallas next week for work & I'm dreading it SOOOO bad. I do NOT want to leave my family! Breaks my heart!!! ;(( but, I can't think about that now...just focusing on the FAB weekend I've just spent w my amazing hubby & kiddos!!! I love you guys!! You are my whole world!

Week in pics!!

The above was from the other night when Richie was working...some might beg to differ with me & think having two kids THAT GET INTO EVERYTHING is easy...But, not always! I had already given Bria a bath, and it was Brady's turn (I cropped out his booty) & I hear giggling behind me...yep, Bria dragging all the towels out! What a mess! Never a dull moment!

We broke down & got Bria a high chair! Long overdue! We thought that Brady would move to his cars table full time & she could have his high chair but it just didn't work out. He wanted the cars table out ALL the time...it's working pretty good, if Bria is in the mood to sit there! Ha!

Dress up! Haha! This was supposed to be Brady's Halloween outfit last year! But, there are no feet holes!!! So, we thought it would be funny to put Bria in it. She hated it! Haha! Rich had to toss her in the air just so I could capture a grin! No feet holes won't work for her either!

Great week!!

Birthday at school!!!

Well, I ordered extra cake pops so I could take snack to school for Brady and his class!  He LOVED it!  They were so sweet to take pics of him enjoying his birthday snack!  Ms. Kaleigh told me that they all LOVED the cake pops and that they were a huge hit!  His birthday continues!  HA!  I think that just about sums it up for his birthday week...Mayme did get him a fish tank for his birthday though, so I think that we will have to go shopping for a fish or two...Other than that - it's been a great week!

Brady's birthday continues...

Well, we had presents for Brady and his friends had brought presents the night before but he never got around to opening them!  SO, Saturday morning (his actual birthday) started off great with presents to open and fun to be had!!! You can see from some of the pics below, he had a BALL!

Bria climbed on this Razorback pillow and starting riding it like a pony - we laughed SO hard!

What lil guy doesn't like hot wheels?!?!?

Brady got everything from stacking blocks, to some cool guitars to legos and drawing pads...He is SO spoiled!  OMG...He is going to be finding new things for a month!  I just know it!  Thanks again to everyone who got Brady a present - you really didn't have to do that!  But, I know he LOVES it all!  And...The sad thing is...He still has some gifts to open...Geez...

Brady & Mayme playing with his new toys!!!

He was SO worn out after his exciting weekend that he fell asleep ON ME in the recliner...He hasnt done this in over a year!  Poor guy!  Sadly...His 2 year molars are coming in so he was a champ for having to deal with those...But, I think it's finally taking its toll...

Sweet, tired lil Birthday boy!!!  All worn out from his fun birthday weekend!  Little does he know, I'm bringing a birthday snack to school tomorrow so he can celebrate with all of his school buddies!  What a wonderful birthday weekend!  HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY BRADY!  We love you!

Brady's 2nd Birthday party!

Well, the above is Brady's invitation to his 2nd birthday party!!!  We had planned on having a small get together at our house & do slip-in slides, pools, fun games, etc. in our backyard & do a tailgate themed party since the big Alabama game was on his birthday.  In thought, we could do a 10-12 party and then people could go tailgate, etc. after...Well, they announced that it would be a 2:30 game and that just messed everything up.  SO, I decided it would be best to have his party somewhere else - where??  BOINGO BOUNCE!!!  He loves that place and what kid doesn't?  So, I decided on a Friday night party & all in all - it turned out great!  And actually, the weather cooled off SO much this week & it was rainy so thank goodness we went this route b/c we couldn't have done an outside party at our house at all!  Check out the pics below!

Momma and the BIRTHDAY BOY!  He has realized that something is going on and he is ready to get his bounce on!  Once he saw the bouncy houses everywhere - he wasn't gonna focus on anything!  HA!

Me and Bria getting the room decorated!  She is ready to bounce too!

The grandmas with Sissy!!!

The BIRTHDAY BOY!  Could he be any cuter??  :)  He is lovin life!

You can tell Brady wasn't wanting to sit still AT ALL - near impossible to get his picture once he started bouncing - and if I went down the bouncy slide once, I went 100 times!

I think Bria thought the party was for her as much fun as she was having...

Bria and Baba bouncing!

Lots and lots of sliding!!!  Look below at all of Brady's friends that came!  I'm so sad that I didn't get pics of everyone...But, I was easily distracted!  There was a lot going on!

Brady taking a little rest - this was so funny...

B
Brady and Kate sliding together!  TOO CUTE!

I love this picture of Kate - I think it's priceless!

Proud parents!  We are so happy about how his party turned out!  It was a blast!

Brady and Mayme eating some pizza and nuggets!

Baba, Papa and Bria eating too - she EATS all the time!  It's so funny!  But, she definitely worked up an appitite!  She was walking and bouncing everywhere!

Brady and his "gluten free" cake...We've been trying to figure out what all he's allergic to lately and we've been trying to feed him organic or preservative free or gluten free food and there is literally only 1 place in NWA that makes a gluten free cake...It's not as cute as a Rick's Bakery cake, but it was really good!

I got cake pops for everyone else - they turned out PRECIOUS!

Brady and Kate wanting a cake pop too!  It was a great time and Brady has been worn out all weekend long!  He is so precious and it's so hard to believe that I was in the hospital with him 2 years ago!  These past 2 years have FLOWN by!  Brady is such a blessing to us and we've enjoyed every second with him!  Thanks to ALL of our friends who helped make this day and party so special for Brady!  And, Brady says THANKS for his birthday presents - so sweet of everyone!  We love you all!

Now...On to planning Bria's party...The 6 week countdown has begun...
