It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!

Although I didn't get to go ALL out and decorate like I really like too...I still put up our main tree in the living room and the kids got their trees for their rooms and my Radko ornament tree is on the kitchen table.  I haven't put up our "personalized tree" yet, but plan on doing so...Once I find a spot for it...
The Elf on the Shelf (nameless right now)...Is in the tree!  I really can't wait for them to understand the story and meaning behind this lil guy!  And, to give him a name for him to have for years to come!

Kitchen Table "Radko" ornament tree!  And, pictures of Brady and Bria & the first time they saw Santa!

These are special stockings that were hand made by Richie's great Aunts!!!  I'm IN LOVE with them!

The kids checking out the tree!

Bria's "sock monkey" themed tree!

Brady's "Razorback" themed tree!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in our house!  I really really can't wait until we find our "dream home" and I can actually get ALL my stuff out!  I just LOVE decorating for Christmas.  We wondered what we could possibly have in our storage building...CHRISTMAS stuff!  I think Richie counted 4 more BIG trees and 2 small 3ft trees that are having to collect dust for another year!  SAD!  One of these days!  But, for now...I like what we have!  I am sad that I don't have room to put up all of my nativity scenes...After all - Jesus is the reason for the season!!!!  And he has blessed us tremendously this year!

Going in to give mommy shuggies - and boy do I love SHUGGIES!

I cropped Bria and I out of this one...It wasn't very flattering to either of us.  AND, I thought it was GREAT of these two handsome men and the neat Razorback lights from the square!

One of the 100 family pics we tried to get for our Christmas card...Just wasn't our night...

Precious...Just soaking it all in...I love my sweet family!  SO BLESSED!

Rat tails and Roller Coasters!

Oh yes, lil Sissy Girl has a rat tail - just when we thought she was pulling it all out...It's growing!  HA!  Some might would call it a mullet, but I like rat tail!  It's so funny!  It's now starting to curl!!!  Will she have curls when her hair really starts growing??  I love it!

St. Nick came early at our house...St. Nick is different than "Santa" and I'll have to see if Tom and Barb will fill me in on this tradition and where it came from, but Richie always got a "St. Nick" gift before Christmas!  Well, the kids are gonna get it also!  And, this year...They got a roller coaster!  Tom and Barb set it up last weekend while they were here and these kids LOVED it!  You know, they don't have enough to play with!  HA!  But, what was really funny is that the age on it says 2-5 and Bria liked it more than Brady!  She didn't want to give him a turn on it - priceless!  I think it was a big hit and I really hope we continue to get nice weather so we can enjoy it a little longer!  I'm not ready AT ALL for really cold weather!  This 60 degree weather we've been having is perfect!!!

My lil "mini me" - This is after church and before we went down to the Fayetteville square to attempt to take some Christmas family photos...YES, I did say "attempt"...

So Thankful...

Thanksgiving 2012

WOW - So hard to believe that Bria wasn't even a month old this time last year!  My My My...Time just flies, I know I say it a lot...But, I blinked!  A whole year is gone!  We have so much to be thankful for and if I typed it all out it would be the longest post ever...So, I'll just state the obvious - MY FAMILY!  I am so blessed to have my husband and best friend by my side (together for over 7 years - so hard to believe)...Together, we have these two amazing kiddos.  They have totally changed our lives and continue to change them every single day.  We are so lucky to have family near and far that care for us!  We have a roof over our head and we both are employed!  We are healthy and happy and SO THANKFUL!

We started Thanksgiving by going to Mass all together and that was nice!  Then home to take some pictures and start the cooking!  Bria wanted to get out her apron and start cooking herself!  HA!  Precious!

I tried to get a good shot of Brady's shirt - it said some things that he is thankful for and it was really cute.  He wouldn't sit still long enough for me to get a good shot though...

I had to do a FLASHBACK picture!  Crack me up at how some things NEVER change!  HA!  I would like to say that the kids look older and we look younger!  I'm going to think it anyway...Next year we will probably have gray hair!  Hehehe!

Sweet lil sissy girl with her parents!

Pics with the fam!

This picture below just cracks me up!  So sweet!

And, you know I had to get a picture of the food - minus the sweets!  We had spinach/cheese dish, chipotle sweet potato casserole, jalapeno stuffing, Paula Dean's famous corn casserole, rolls and crawfish etouffee stuffed chicken - DE-LISH!  And, thanks to Dolores we had amazing desserts!  I was going to fix something but ran out of time and Richie got a creme brulee cheesecake and Dolores fixed some toffee bar things and pumpkin butter bars or something.  All I know is that I LOVE sweets and they = AMAZING!

We took the kids up to the park in the afternoon and had a great time with them, but I think they were worn out from all the activities throughout the day!  I'm pretty sure I gained about 20 pounds in one single day...YIKES!  It was a really great day!  The kids didn't know, but we were heading to Yell County to celebrate Thanksgiving with my Dad and Step Mom and sister on Black Friday!

The kiddos had to check things out on the farm when they got there!  I'm pretty sure Brady would have rounded up the horses if he could have!  He kept trying to crawl through the fence!  And, they both were intrigued with the cat!

I was so happy that my sister was able to sneak away on her lunch break and come over for a visit!  As always, it was too short!  But, it was great seeing her!  AND of course she came with gifts for the kids!  THESE KIDS ARE SPOILED!  Oh the days that I can remember when my birthday was neverending...Now, it's the kids!  HA!  It was really sweet of her to bring such neat gifts for the kids!  Very special!  And, they were getting a lil antsy so the crayons and coloring book & lil tractor really came in handy!  Thank you Aunt Michel!  I really hope we can see her again soon!

And, Nana and Pappy came over too!  They had never even seen Bria so it was their first meeting and it had been a long time since they have seen Brady.  It was such a nice visit!  They are both doing well and seemed excited to see the kids.  Bria really liked it when Nana read to her and she was really curious about Pappy and his voice.  Brady woke up at 5am and was WORN out by the time they got there...He was starting to fade before Michel even got there...So, he found some TV trays in the kitchen he decided to use as drums and play music for us all!  HA!  He is either going to be an artist or a musician!

It was a really long day with the drive and the tired kids, but it was great seeing them!  I'm sad that Richie worked and didn't get to come, but hopefully next time!  We do get the whole weekend together!  YAY!  Of course we dressed to cheer on the Razorbacks in the Battle of the Boot...But, we lost...20-13.

Poor Brady didn't nap at all on the way home.  I knew it wasn't going to be a pretty night...But, when we got home we played outside for a little bit...It was SO much cooler up here, so that didn't last too long.  And, he fell asleep eating dinner!  POOR GUY!  But, it was a fairly early night for the kids.  Giving me enough time to get some laundry done and time to pick up the house and blog!  So thankful for my family and my life.  God has truly blessed us!  I hope we have many more Thanksgiving's to come!  Now...I need to find time to decorate for Christmas!  WHOOHOO!  Happy Thanksgiving!

Catch up! 3rd and final!

What have we been doing?  Richie works every 3rd day and I really really enjoy the alone time I get with the kiddos.  When they were younger, there were days that were hard and we never left the house b/c it was just too hard...Now that they are getting older, it is getting a little easier!  So, the past 2 weekends we've gone up to the fire station to see Richie while he is working.  It's been pretty funny though bc Brady runs WILD when we are there and Bria has fallen asleep in the car both times and she sleeps the whole time!  I think Brady is starting to feel comfortable around the big fire trucks...

A lil too comfortable!  HA!

We took them to the park to enjoy some fresh air and they had a BLAST!  Love these smiles!

Fire station - round 2!  Brady turned on the lights this time and said "WHOA!" He was loving it!

Playing in the leaves - running through them, throwing them up in the air and having a nice time!

And, playing in the sunroom!  Bria is big enough now to get on and off the trampoline all by herself and sometimes she thinks she is a lil too big!

Brady naming all the letters..."Z!!!!"  We have so much fun with these kids!  They are so precious to us and it's just so crazy that they are getting so big!  Time just flies by...Way too fast!  Love them and are so thankful for them!  They are the BEST!  Now...I'm caught up for the time being...Thanksgiving will be here before you know it!  SO much to be thankful for!!!

Catch up! Part 2...

One of the birthday presents that Baba and Papa got for the kids was gymnastics!  They started after Bria's birthday and they are actually in a class with just them two!  Ms. Julie is so great with them!  They both love it and are already doing better!  Richie wasn't sure about it at first and thought that it was a waste of money ESP since they would rather be outside, but his mind quickly changed after our 2nd session when they both were able to do things that they hadn't the 1st session and were SO PROUD!  It was really cute!  And, since the weather is getting cooler, it's something fun for them to do in the warmth!
Our 2nd session was a little different with them trying out new things and being a little bit more independent!  It was really fun!  Bria bounced by herself on this mini type trampoline and Brady did the balance beam with us just barely holding on to the back of his shirt.  He was SO proud of himself and was clapping!  It was just PRICELESS!  We really had a great time!  Thank you Baba and Papa!
And, here they are at the park!  Brady is able to do the big boy swing all by himself now!
