Well, with 2 sick kids it's been a weekend with ups and downs...Hopefully the medicine will kick in soon! Richie went to Ryan's on Friday night to celebrate his birthday with the boys. Thank goodness he gave Brady a bath and waited to go over there until things settled down a little bit. He worked on Saturday and Mayme came up to help me with the kids since they were both under the weather and I wanted her to watch Bria while Brady went to Lilly Johnson's birthday party!
Lilly's party was at Boingo Bounce off Township in Fayetteville and WOW was it a fun place! Brady took a long nap and I was so sad that he really only got 10 minutes of bounce time by the time we got there. He wasn't feeling great and Bria had barely eaten all day, but we attempted the party. We didn't get to stay long and I didn't even get a pic of the bday girl! The above little girl is Bo & Sabrina's little girl - Landry. She is 2 months younger than Brady and just precious!! This is a place that we MUST take Brady to again! He loved it! What a great idea for a birthday party! Happy 3rd Birthday Lilly! Thanks for including us in your special day, even though we didn't get to stay as long as we wanted!
After the party we got a snack for the kids and decided to take advantage of this weather and we took a walk! Had to cover their ears b/c I didn't want them to get worse...But, they really seemed to enjoy it. Brady took Kermit on his walk - a gift from Oma in Virginia. Bria got a fluffy bear! So sweet of her to think of them, especially since she has so much going on. Say a prayer for her and Lawrence...He just had surgery on his leg and it's not looking good. One complication after the other and his heart is in bad shape and they had to move him to a different hospital. My granny has been married to him for like 20 years. So sad, I feel terrible for her. We think she is special and we love how she spoils these kids from afar! Love you granny/oma! We are thinking of you!
After our walk, Bria took a power nap and Brady played on the slide and jumped on the trampoline. He and Mayme had fun! Despite feeling bad and being tired, he still knows how to play and have a good time! Then, sissy woke up and wanted some loving too! I was happy my mom came up b/c Richie was at work and these kids are like a roller coaster...One minute they feel terrible and are SUPER fussy and the next minute they are wanting to play and roll around and then crying, etc. all over again...I'm ready to have these kids well & healthy! Thanks for coming up and helping - much appreciated!
And, I need to give a shout out to Bria's God Father - Jerry Hellebusch! His surprise 60th birthday party was this weekend and we hated that we were missing it...He and Rose are so special to us and we hope that we get to see them soon - Happy 60th Birthday Jerry - we love you!!
